Wild Ponies!

Assateague National Seashore is famous for the two herds of wild ponies that live there, made famous through books like Misty of Chincoteague.

As best as I can tell, I took this photo sometime in 2004. When I took out my film camera last weekend, I noticed that there were photos taken on the roll in the camera. This was one of them. This picture is looking down into the east river. The fact that the film basically expired in the camera lends this a greenish/blue appearance. I liked that and the way that the light plays across the water in the top of the photo.
