I know! of all of the Jane Austen remakes, Mansfield Park is definitely the best.

I beg to differ. As wonderful as Mansfield Park undeniably is (especially with all the bits from the juvenilia thrown in -- "Run mad as often as you choose, but do not faint!"), in my opinion, the 1995 BBC serialisation of Pride and Prejudice just cannot be topped. You just can't beat Colin Firth as Darcy. Although I have to admit I'm looking forward to seeing Matthew McFadyen in the part. Keira Knightley as Lizzy, though... ugh. I can't see much good come of that.
