Two views of the fencing on the dunes at Assateague National Seashore. I took out my film (film!!!) camera for the first time since 2004. It still had film in it and I used the film I bought pre-2004 which was clearly expired. I kind of like the effect though - the lighter film is yellowed and the darker film is more blue/green than it should be.

Those are real nice. I'd vote them into your portfolio if the suggestion list is still open. I think I like the second one best.

The colors in these are wonderful. And I love the depth and light in the second one. You've really captured it all very nicely.

(I wish I wouldn't be so lazy and take more photos with "real" film. Having said that I think I still have film from 2005 that's waiting to be developed.)

Thanks. :)

Taking my film camera out was strange. I kept looking at the back out of reflex, as if the photo was going to show up there. Also, I had to take multiple exposures of the same shot to make sure I got it just right ... but then I had to pay for the back exposures to be developed. Film photography is just so EXPENSIVE. But it felt good to know that i could still do it if I wanted to. I might go ahead and finish the rolls of film I have left.
