After my little experiment last night scanning medium format negatives on a flatbed scanner, I pulled out some of my other negatives this evening to take a closer look at them. I noticed that the prints on some of them were losing detail that was definitely present in the negatives. I also noticed that the prints seem to cut off part of the frame. This is probably something that anyone who has taken a proper photography class would know, but I'm slow to pick up on things. I also noticed that, for whatever reason, the photographs I took with Kodak Tmax scanned in much nicer than the photographs I took with Fuji Neopan. So, I take back anything negative I said about Tmax.

The biggest difference was in this photo -

I love film, but I do mostly digital photography for the simple reason that it is cheaper and money is pretty tight right now.

Indeed :| we would love to buy Photoshop so that we can edit some of the pics that we take but we are still thinking twice abt it.

By the way... sorry for not commenting on the portrait series... we really liked it!! They were all awesome... and we wouldn't change anything :)
